Resin bound flooring is water-permeable (the water will go through the resin bound flooring) when placed on an open surface asphalt(tarmac). Alternatively, if resin bound flooring is used over concrete, it is not water-permeable (the water will not go through the resin bound flooring). The cost of resin bound floors varies due to the amount of preparation required to your existing surface. The actual Resin bound flooring itself, is one of the most cost effective and decorative ways to enhance your home and add value to it.
Resin Bound flooring is created when you add decorative stones and resin to a mixer. The mixed material is then applied to the surface (generally at a minimum 18mm depth). Resin bonded flooring is created by applying a thin application of resin and scattering stone on top of the resin (generally 1-3mm depth).

Over time (like any flooring material) Resin Bound Flooring can become dirty and in need of a clean. Simply sweep with a stiff brush, to remove any debris, apply a diluted solution of washing up liquid and warm water and scrub the surface with a stiff brush. Rinse clean with a hose. If a more mechanical clean is required, for stubborn stains or grime, remove them with a pressure washer (with a maximum 150 bar rating) and a fan-type lance.
